Foreclosure sales in Florida are public sales. Any person can bid on foreclosure properties, and many investors do. The bank bids on credit up to the amount of the mortgage, and all other bidders must pay cash.
The clerk of court issues the Certificate Of Sale to the high bidder. If neither a Bankruptcy or objections to sale are filed within ten days the clerk of court issues the Certificate Of Title to the high bidder.

Until about 7-8 years ago foreclosure sales in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County were conducted in the lobby of the courthouse. The bank’s attorney bid on the bank’s behalf against third party investors and junior lienholders.

ONLINE FORECLOSURE SALE DATA
For each online foreclosure sale the following data is provided:
- Case Number
- Foreclosure Judgment amount
- Property Address
- Assessed value given by county property appraisers office
- Date Of Sale
- The bank’s maximum bid (if disclosed by the bank)
