What happens if a bankruptcy is challenged by a creditor?
Some bankruptcy cases sail right through, while in others the bankruptcy trustee and/or creditors file different types of challenges. For instance, a creditor can challenge the discharge (cancellation) of its debt, and the trustee can challenge your Chapter 7 Discharge in its entirety. These challenges are not frequent, but you need a champion in the event one is filed. These challenges are a type of litigation called adversary cases. We have years of experience defending these cases and can help you win yours!
